A single field of productive Grade 3 arable land extending in all to approximately 34.53 acres (13.97 hectares) to the east side of Wheldrake Lane. The land benefits from under drainage comprising mainly good bodied soils capable of growing high yielding wheat crops . Current cropping is an AB15 legume mix under an SFI scheme which will provide a good entry for next years crop. The field was cropped with Spring Barley for the previous 3 years but has grown potatoes in the past.
