Comprising three parcels, each with good road access, the land at Old Buckenham is an attractive parcel of commercial scale farmland. The land is well drained and has been famed by a local contractor on a rolling Contract Farming Agreement.

The land is classified as Grades 3 and 4 on the Land Classification Soil Series of England and Wales with soils of the Burlingham 1 Series being a fine loam over permeable subsoils clayey soils. A typical crop rotation of the land includes winter wheat, winter barley, oil seed rape and winter beans. The land has consistently produced yields of about 4t/acre for first winter wheats, 3.5t/acre for winter barley and 1.7t/acre for oil seed rape.
