Quarry Wood – Marlow, Marlow, Buckinghamshire

£25,000

Description

Quarry Wood is a small woodland set in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the River Thames in Marlow.

The wood itself is well mixed, hazel is dominant but chestnut, ash, sycamore, beech, spruce, laurel and holly are all common. The woodland is situated on the side of a hill and although quite steep in places, there are some clearings in the central part of the wood that are flatter and offer the possibility of camping.

The plot has the benefit of owning a section of the bridleway to the north. A public footpath runs along the top of the wood with wonderful views out across the river and Marlow itself.

Locally, Longridge Activity Centre is just a short walk away offering water sports and other family activities. The popular town of Marlow, with its wealth of restaurants and pubs, is just a few minutes away by car. With easy access to the M40 or M4, London is only an hour away.

Ward is Bisham & Cookham and the County Council is Windsor and Maidenhead.

Boundaries: The boundaries are open on all sides. To the east and west the woodland borders neighbouring woodland, the northern side follows the lower bridleway and the southern border follows the footpath at the top of the wood.

Access: Access is possible on foot only.
